Vincent appears in new Johnnie Ray documentary

Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) invited author Vincent L. Stephens to serve as a commentator in the 2022 documentary Oregon Experience: Johnnie Ray. Ray is one of the four musicians Stephens cover sin 2019’s Rocking the Closet. The documentary, directed by Kami Horton, overviews Ray’s childhood, pre-fame career, and his rise and fall, as well as his legacy. The film features excellent live footage and an array of voices, including Ray’s surviving family members and his manager.
