Connecting Broads, Sisters, Exes with the public!
Broads, Sisters, Exes: Feminist Millennial Television was published by Wayne State University Press’s “Contemporary Approaches to Film and Media Studies” series in March 2025 and I am excited to engage with readers.
In May 2025I had a very lively conversation with host Cory Barker on the New Books Network podcast. Please find my conversation at this link: https://newbooksnetwork.com/broads-sisters-exes?fbclid=IwY2xjawNYrBhleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHk4LbPnLbs5ZvFSlia_LPPEfZXxv52Ym-7FZ1No7lm3DiHmsURyN5RmbfRC3_aem_XbY6sJGqO_3yYvsGNwKAog
In October 2025 I am discussing the book at two events at Boston University. First, on October 16, I am the featured speaker for the Cinema and Media Studies Program’s annual seminar series. My talk, “Reconsidering Women’s Televisual Representation—Millennial Style,” is happening at 5:30 pm in the CAS building (725 Commonwealth Avenue, Room 200).
Second, on October 29 I am doing a book talk and signing at an event hosted by the College of Communication, LGBTQIA+ Center for Faculty and Staff Center and LGBTQIA+ Student Resource Center at 640 Commonwealth Avenue. Registration and room details are available on the flyer below.
